Janet Widemire-McArthur

At BREAD, Janet Widemire-McArthur is the sustenance. As Office Manager, she oversees the operations that keep the building and every single employee functioning at their best. A Hattiesburg native, she knows most of the city by name, including many of our clients (we aren’t exaggerating). That familiarity has a way of making the office feel less like a workplace and more like a home base.

Janet remembers the birthdays, the milestones, the small favorites. She asks the right questions and gives the most intentional answers. A surprising amount of what works around here can be traced back to her forethought, her kindness, and her diligence. The team relies on her in ways that are easy to take for granted, which is exactly how she prefers it.

Her own framing of the work is simple: relationships are what matter most, and when they’re healthy, the operational side falls into place. That belief shows up in the texture of life at BREAD every day.
