Jesse Johnson
BREAD photographer Jesse Johnson believes that stories can come alive through images. “The right image can convey your entire brand–your values, your mission, your purpose–in just a single snapshot,” Johnson said. “That’s what’s so exciting about the work we do here. Every opportunity is a chance to grow and tell an amazing story.”
A self-taught photographer with an extensive network of mentors and colleagues, Jesse has captured images for Tiger Rag, Pine Belt News, Max Preps, Rivals.com, the City of Hattiesburg, Downtown Hattiesburg Association, Pine Belt Foundation, William Carey University, and more. “When I was younger, I was diagnosed with ADD and dyslexia. Basic things like reading and writing were challenging for me,” Jesse said. “Photography has given me this incredible purpose. With a camera, I can express myself, tell stories, and connect with the clients we serve. BREAD gives me the creative freedom to live out that purpose.”
Outside of BREADquarters, Jesse enjoys watching sports of all kinds, advocating for Hattiesburg, and looking for the next great bowl of pho.
