There’s a lot of noise out there about how to “win” on Meta. Scroll long enough, and you’ll find no shortage of pundits, playbooks, hot takes, and half-tested theories. Everyone has an opinion. Everyone has a strategy. Everyone, apparently, has cracked the code. Yet finding someone with firsthand knowledge is the unicorn everyone is chasing.

Which is why we’re proud to share that Chandler Dunaway, Social Media Strategist at BREAD, has officially earned Meta’s Certified Media Buying Professional credential.

That matters, not in a LinkedIn-badge, look-at-me way. It matters because it’s a real trust signal for BREAD and for the clients who trust us with their carefully budgeted advertising dollars.

What does becoming a Meta-Certified Professional Media Buyer mean?

Meta certification isn’t about vibes or opinions. It’s about demonstrated mastery. To earn the Certified Media Buying Professional designation, Chandler had to demonstrate a practical, working understanding of Meta’s advertising ecosystem, from campaign structure and targeting to optimization, measurement, and performance strategy. This is Meta saying, “Yes, this person is equipped with the skills to buy media and maximize our platform.”

This is also Meta saying, “This is not someone who thinks they know how it works, someone who may have gotten lucky once, or someone passing their knowledge off in a 90-second reel.”

In an industry where most people learn by watching others talk about advertising, this is as close as you can get to going straight to the source without being on Meta’s payroll.

What does this mean for our clients?

If you’re a business trying to advertise on Meta, the alternative path to this level of understanding looks something like this: hundreds of blog posts, dozens of webinars, conflicting advice, algorithm speculation, and a whole lot of trial and error… all on your nickel.

At BREAD, we prefer a different approach. Chandler’s certification means BREAD has someone in-house with a direct line to Meta’s best practices. A professional who understands not just what to do, but also why it works, when it doesn’t, and how to adjust when the ground inevitably shifts.

That’s not theory. That’s leverage for every BREAD client.

We don’t pursue credentials for optics or recognition. We pursue them because our clients deserve excellence. Professional development isn’t a bonus; it’s part of our job. We study the platforms, test the strategies, and sharpen our understanding so that the work we produce outperforms expectations. Chandler’s certification is one example of that commitment: investing in mastery and endorsement so our clients receive the highest level of strategic guidance possible.

At BREAD, we believe expertise should be earned, not assumed. That the best work happens when curiosity meets discipline. And that if we’re going to advise businesses on how to spend their money, we owe them more than opinions. We owe them understanding.

Chandler’s Meta certification is another quiet indicator of how we operate. No shortcuts. No guesswork. Just people who care enough to know what they’re doing with zero guesswork.
