Grace Kent Johnson, co-founder and Senior Director of BREAD and Managing Partner of Blue Hen Agency, was recognized at the Area Development Partnership’s ELEVATE Victory Celebration Reception alongside fellow members of the ELEVATE Capital Campaign Leadership Cabinet. Grace served on the Capital Campaign Leadership Division Cabinet, helping lead The ADP’s five-year private-sector fundraising effort to a successful close of $5.45 million, exceeding the original $5 million goal and securing the resources needed to fund ADP’s 2026–2030 Economic Development Business Action Plan. ELEVATE is a bold five-year economic development initiative focused on job growth, talent and workforce solutions, site and infrastructure development, and strengthening community competitiveness across Greater Hattiesburg. The campaign is projected to help create more than 2,200 new jobs in the Pine Belt region between 2026 and 2030. BREAD is proud to be part of a community that invests in its own future, and grateful for Grace’s continued leadership in shaping the next era of economic growth for Greater Hattiesburg.
