Gavin Smith

Gavin Smith creates video and content for BREAD’s media production team. He brings a calm, curious presence into every shoot and a willingness to try things—qualities that translate directly into work that feels alive rather than assembled. Capturing someone’s story on film and helping shape its emotional pull is, in his framing, one of the most rewarding things he gets to do. The work shows it.

Gavin was born and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He spent a few years traveling the country to film, including work with Adidas, Brooks Running, and ESNTLS, before returning home to make story-driven videos in Mississippi. His comfort behind the camera is matched by his ease in front of people; one of his favorite parts of a shoot is the moment he gets to direct and encourage clients into the version of themselves the project needs.

When he’s not working, Gavin is saltwater fishing, shooting and building rifles, playing guitar, or doing other outdoor activities.
