
Walt Denton
Walt Denton serves as Director of Marketing Operations at BREAD, where he leads the systems, processes, and strategic deployment that power our high-performing marketing team. With more than two decades of experience in marketing, advertising, public relations, and organizational leadership, Walt brings a rare combination of strategic clarity and operational discipline to the agency.
Prior to joining BREAD, Walt was President of WD Marketing, where he led brand strategy and marketing execution for a range of national and regional clients. Throughout his career, he has guided organizations through major transitions, led high-impact campaigns, and driven some of the most successful and profitable seasons for the teams he has supported.
His experience spans agency leadership, economic development, and public sector communications. From directing award-winning, multi-million dollar infrastructure and tourism initiatives to managing complex client portfolios and political campaigns, his work consistently delivers measurable results and long-term growth.
At BREAD, Walt is focused on strengthening the operational foundation of the marketing department to better serve our clients’ needs while supporting the professional development of our team. He works in close partnership with Jennifer Davion, who continues to lead marketing strategy, client performance, and overall direction. Together, they form a complementary leadership structure for the marketing department, designed to elevate both execution and outcomes for BREAD’s clients.
Walt holds a Master of Science in Public Relations and a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication from The University of Southern Mississippi.
